Youth Learn About Clean Energy at Onix Solar:
As part of the “Youth Energy” project, supported by the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo and implemented by the Education Code organization, a study visit was organized to Onix Solar – Banja e Pejës, where young participants had the opportunity to experience firsthand how solar technologies work and gain practical knowledge about renewable energy.
The aim of the activity was to strengthen the capacities of young people in the solar energy sector, through real-life experience and direct interaction with professionals in the field.
The participants, which included youth from non-majority communities, showed great interest in learning more about photovoltaic panels, installation processes, inverter functionality, and the overall potential of clean energy for a sustainable future.
The training was led by experts from Education Code and engineers from Onix Solar, who presented the full cycle of a solar energy system, from energy generation through the panels to conversion and practical use for daily needs. Hands-on demonstrations created an engaging and dynamic learning atmosphere.
A special value of the visit was the presence of representatives from the Office of the Prime Minister, who closely followed the project implementation and supported the commitment to enhance education and awareness among youth regarding renewable energy.
The project was marked by the engagement, collaboration, and enthusiasm of the youth, who through this initiative not only acquired technical skills but also built the confidence to contribute to the energy sector in the future.
