The NGO Education Code, in collaboration with the “17 Shkurti” school and with the support of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo for Community Affairs, has successfully concluded another important chapter in youth empowerment – the “Digital Inclusion” project, aimed at promoting inclusion and equality in digital skill development.
This innovative project seeks to provide young people, especially girls, with equal opportunities for professional development in the fields of technology and innovation. Through structured trainings and hands-on sessions in modern computer labs, students have been guided toward career development and prepared for the labor market.
Key components of the project included:
- Intensive training in digital skills and the use of new technologies;
- Mentorship and career guidance for a clear professional path;
- Special focus on including girls as an essential part of the emerging digital workforce;
- Certification of participants upon successful completion of the program.
The participation of girls was particularly impressive, showcasing their potential in technology and breaking gender stereotypes in STEM fields.
The classroom atmosphere was vibrant and dynamic, with participants showing exceptional interest and dedication throughout the lessons and practical tasks. Thanks to the dedication of the training team and committed mentors, the “Digital Inclusion” project became a platform of inspiration and empowerment for the new generation.
This project stands as a clear example of how collaboration between educational institutions, civil society organizations, and public authorities can produce real and tangible change for young people in Kosovo.
A sincere thank you to all the partners, mentors, and students for the energy and commitment that brought this project to life!
