Education Code NGO, in partnership with the Municipality of Fushë Kosovë and with the financial support of the European Union through the ReLOaD2 program, implemented by UNDP in Kosovo, has successfully concluded the “Get IT, Sell IT” project. The initiative equipped 30 young people from diverse communities with practical knowledge in graphic design and information technology.
The program included:
- Two-month training in computer labs on graphic design and modern technologies;
- Hands-on use of advanced software for design and programming;
- Lectures and motivational sessions from mentors and industry professionals;
- Special focus on the inclusion of youth from non-majority communities and those with disabilities.
What makes this project special?
Young participants gained real-world skills highly sought in today’s job market—graphic design, digital technology, and the confidence to present themselves and their work professionally.
They were encouraged to see technology not just as a creative tool, but also as a path toward employment and entrepreneurship.
During the sessions, participants developed unique projects using professional tools. Representatives from the municipality and project partners visited the trainings to show their support and engagement.
At the closing ceremony, 30 young participants received certificates, marking their commitment and growth. The group included youth from Roma, Ashkali, Egyptian, Albanian, and Serbian communities, turning the project into a true model of digital and social inclusion.
This project highlights the power of collaboration between NGOs, local institutions, and international partners in building a more equal, digital, and inclusive future for youth in Kosovo.
It also reflects not only technical engagement but the energy and enthusiasm shown during the certificate handover—a testament to the impact and success of this initiative.
